I was told June/July in two boutiques in Germany, but they didn't seem 100% sure.

October as per the OB in Zurich, Switzerland and the sales documentation they have showed me. Green Seamaster is supposed for June. New AT for November.

October? Not sure I understand Omega's strategy there, but what do I know

Another missed opportunity. The announcement of new watches and when they actually get into Boutiques and stores has always been an area that most watch companies could improve on. Many times I would buy models but by the time they get into the store I have cooled on them or have moved onto. MoonSwatch is my latest example followed by the Green Seamaster.

I appreciate the delay...helps me avoid any buyers-remorse from making emotional purchase decisions.

Apologies for the threadjack….. I can’t wait for the Green Seamaster to hit in June.

Is this boutique only or will it be available at ADs?

I agree, 3 months is too long a lead time. Tudor do much better in getting their latest watches to store, albeit in annoyingly limited quantities!

It’s always the same policy. Earlier, when Omega showed new models once a year at Basel watch fair in March or April, they hit stores in autumn.
Maybe they’re checking reactions, or maybe they give time to gather the money

Well ck859 is out. New speedmaster 57 line is out. Guess it depends on the model.

Seamaster Green seems to be hitting the OBs here in Switzerland. First one for sale on our Swiss auction site (with a premium of course…700 Swiss over list or 1,4k for the buy-now option).

I've visited 2 different boutiques asking about when the new coloured ATs will be available. They couldn't tell me. Omega are useless. What's the point of unveiling new releases if the boutiques don't have a view on when they'll be available?

It wasn't long ago that Rolex would announce in April and watches didn't show up in ADs until the Fall. I don't think 3-4 months is a long time to wait. The green dial Moonshine Speedmaster has started to trickle out. Ryan Reynolds was wearing one recently. I am sure we will start to see more very soon.

Watch brands released models throughout the year nowadays anyway. It's not like April is the only time we hear about new pieces that we are captive to for one year until the next release.

Pretty sure the Ryan Reynolds one was advertising from omega. Just seems weird that certain models are already out and others aren't coming until months later.

I mean I understand there are special rules for special players, but he has a functional model. These different proprietary gold Speedmasters aren't much different than the stainless steel version, so I suspect they are on their way (albeit in much smaller production numbers). When watches announce in April, I don't really expect to see them make their way into people's hands until the late summer/early fall. I only have that expectation because that's sort of what we've traditionally seen.

That said, it does seem like brands are turning around introduced pieces much quicker these days. I do agree that Omega should be able to offer some kind of time table aside from "I don't know." I've never been interested in a gold Speedmaster until I saw this Moonshine version. It's absolutely stunning.

I’m sure You know the difference in price and versions between any Tudor and this particular reference from Omega

This is not meant to be a readily fly on the shelves by any means

I bought the green 57 Speedmaster a few weeks ago, and it was a tough call between the Diver and Aqua Terra green. I do worry the 38.5 Aqua Terra is too small for my liking.
