Early 50’s Tudor Oyster rebuild video

Below is a cool video showing a rebuild of a nice little Tudor Oyster from the early 50s.

If you’ve never seen Wristwatch Revival, the guy is an amateur watchmaker but does a nice job of explaining what he’s doing, gives basic information, etc.

In this particular video, The watch was submitted by a man whose grandfather originally owned the Tudor. The owner didn’t want any polishing or dial work, just a service and get it running again. It A well worn and well loved Watch but one of the issues is a crown tube with stripped threads.

It’s long but a fun video to watch. Enjoy!
