Incoming Cartier

Hi all,

A birthday present for myself - I always wanted to add a Cartier so I tried on the various models with the obvious choices being Tank, Santos, Drive etc. To my own surprise I fell for the 40mm Cle de Cartier on bracelet.

The sculpted case is very comfortable on the wrist as is the slim integrated bracelet. In house automatic manufacture movement together with a unique winding crown/key that forms part of the case and the traditional Cartier dial features (the blue numerals and hands are particularly nice) led to a winner.

Enjoy the pics!

Very nice! How do you set the time? What does the thingy at the crown do?

Like a normal crown - current position to wind it, pull out once for date and third for the time and pushes back to integrate with the case.

Pardon my ignorance! Have never played with one. Have had scant AD contact during the pandemic.
