But if you like both equally, but can only buy one, it is interesting to get other people’s perspective….no?

Particularly if that opinion is from someone who owns or has owned that piece and can offer an ownership experience. Such as “I sold the Chrono because I found it difficult to read”, which can help to make your decision

I suppose if you want to base your purchase on other peoples opinions and not have one of your own, it makes sense.

pffffff

Obviously you have NEVER sought out reviews on anything you have ever bought prior to purchase.

Clearly we are in the presence of an all knowing single minded genius.

I think I explained my rationale fairly clearly...don't like it, don't like "these types of threads"? Why bother commenting? Just move on...but I get it, you like to claim your little self-proclaimed victories at being "superior"...go you!

Jog on

I'm after the S/G GMT right now, so that's my leaning. However, I'd love to add a panda someday. So, bottom line...I don't think you can make a wrong decision between the two.

I have the two new Chronos, black and white, and the Root Beer on a strap. If I had to choose I would pick the black chrono followed by the Root Beer followed by the White Chrono. I like the looks of the white Chrono but the dial is unreadable in certain light. The Root Beer looks and feel right.

Tough choice; both look great. I really like the RB. I think I'd go with that if I already owned a chrono. It would help to know what the rest of your collection is like. Is it only the before mentioned bronze?

Black Chrono by a mile. Enough contrast to be legible. (White is washed out.) It's the best watch in the Tudor lineup apart from the Pelagos family.

If I ignore the snowflake hand it's actually an amazing watch. They could have used stick hands like in their old Chronos.... but no. Had to be the SF. (This should be the decision tree: Is it a diver? Snowflake. Is it something else? Stick)

The black chrono is the best of the two chronographs.
I tried the Rootbeer the other day but didn’t like it.

I’m a sucker for Tudor Chronos. Like Dan said, reverse all the way. My reverse 79360 fits in perfectly in my crown collection because it does not have any redundancy.
The white dial has a creamy look to it that makes it a bit off for me. Cool options either way.
