Real or Fake Submariner "Hulk" and GMT-II Master "Batman"

There are two postings on Offerup in my local area by the same seller for a Submariner 116610LV aka "Hulk" and GMT-II Master 116710BLNR aka "Batman".
Both are in new or mint condition and suspiciously priced low, $5,000 and $4,000 respectively, way below market value. The reason for the low prices? He wants to "help" people who can't afford them by selling at a much lower price so that they can be able to own a genuine Rolex.
The seller has the box and papers and can provide a "certificate of authenticity". The posts are a month old and the seller claims they are still unsold. He will allow transactions via paypal to protect both buyer and seller and offer 30 day money back guarantee plus will pay for return shipping because he is a "legitimate businessman."
Below are pictures of each. Batman pictures are blurry but the seller says they're the best he can provide. So the question is are they real or fake? I'm aware that the newest replicas are ridiculously hard to spot now.

I was so close of buying both but really needed to take it one step at a time and slow down, even if it's through Paypal. He has zero history and only has these two listings on Offerup. Rule #1 when buying a Rolex or any luxury watch is, "buy the seller". I can't obviously in this case. What are your guys' thoughts?

A Certificate of Authenticity doesn't really certify anything - who would be the authority that issues such a thing?

These are just pictures. Do you have any real proof that the watch in these pictures is what you would receive for your bargain-basement payment?

WARNING! His "reason" for selling sounds extremely bizarre and stupid.
Maybe they are "hot"?
And WHY does he just happen to have TWO high-demand Rolex's in his possession?
WHERE did he get them?
WHAT is their history?
The term "legitimate businessman" sounds like he is making an attempt to comfort a potential buyer.
I never heard that term used in a sale posting.
All unknowns.
This all smells.
But . . . . It's Your decision and Your money and Your risk.

He states the certificate of authenticity would be from the Rolex retailer he bought it from.

I have zero proof what I will receive will be the one in the pictures. But the seller is assuring me he is aware of a lot of counterfeit/replica Rolexes on the grey market and is not out to cheat anyone. Again, this is all just words. No basis or reason to believe anything. Only thing going for this sale is that it can be done through Paypal which will protect the buyer should things go sour.

Is there a way to verify an authentic Rolex by serial number by contacting the retailer he bought it from? He said he bought it from a Rolex store.

You mean they're "hot" as in stolen and being tracked by local authorities?
I don't know why he has 2 high demand Rolexes. He said he bought them both at a Rolex retailer. I did not ask him about the history.

I even told him how do I know these are not replicas and he got offended that I would questions his character on selling counterfeits as genuine. I asked a lot of questions. He said he can only send one invoice at a time and cannot send two separate Paypal invoices until I pay for one of them first. Then he can send the other invoice. He said he tried and couldn't, so he called Paypal and that is what they told him (supposedly). Very unusual.

Would you take the risk, even thought it's through Paypal?

Wow I just caught something. The two close-up shots of the Hulk dial and bezel (1st and last picture) are different watches. The spacing between the "=" in the depth rating is closer on the last one vs the first picture. I'm going to flag this posting and report this to Offerup. This guy is a conman.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. I feel ya, too good to be true.
Guess it's time to save up and buy at an AD.

Yeah no problem. I'll offer whatever I can to help out. No one should be duped into believing a replica is a genuine and taken advantage of by these sleazy conmen with no remorse and moral compass of what they do.

I just caught it after closely looking at this the past 3 days.
I was so tempted to send him payment via Paypal.

This guy even went as far as to say that he believes in karma and wouldn't cheat anyone. He only does unto others what he would do onto him, which is oxymoronic for a conman.

. . . . and get what you pay for . . . real Rolex, real piece of mind.

Also he could have easily stolen the photos from anywhere.

Plus he always seems to offer a few more "hoops" for you to jump through.

Why would anyone sell either of those items for that price if they were legit? eBay with those pictures, sold instantly for much more.
