Pre owned 6 digit Explorer ll prices

Interesting to note, all 6 digit Explorers that Watchfinder have in stock are all selling north of £10,000.
Not that I have ever bought a watch to see how much I could make on it, it’s nice to know that once in a while I spent my money wisely.
Totally unlike the number of brand new Mercs I bought that plummeted as soon as I drove them out of the showroom, and continued to drop in value from that moment on!

Got a feeling the black 216570 especially will continue to go up and up considering it has the classic matte dial and phantom hands that Rolex decided to ditch on the black 226570 for some unknown reason.

I totally agree with this! The phantom hands were/are so damn cool. I regret parting with mine. It was my daily for 5 years. I don't feel too bad though because I replaced it with an Explorer (39mm mk2) which has also appreciated nicely.

Myself always buy the watch I want to own and wear, but today many think of Rolex watches as little more than £££$$€€€€€ object things.
