Incoming - The Book of Rolex
I have been looking to get this book for a few weeks now after I read a little of it online, but finally picked it up yesterday.
Really enjoying reading the history, and the pictures are detailed. I particularly enjoyed the part about how they service the watch. It's not the most comprehensive book on Rolex but for £30 you can't grumble too much! Are there any other books that you would recommend? |

The Dowling and Hess book is pretty good. Better than most, anyway, despite a few mistakes, and reasonably priced (last time I looked). Good history content.

Have to agree but a few mistakes that are not 100% correct.

The Dowling & Hess book is poorly edited but is overall a good read and benefits from covering a wide spectrum of the watches manufactured by Rolex. Personally I like Martin Skeet and Nick Urul's book on Vintage Rolex Sports watches - I believe that they are up to the fourth edition. A great buy for in the region of £50 on e-bay (I think a copy of the 3rd edition is currently on e-bay for around £25-30).

I've read the rolex report, but what other books would you guys suggest to get a good overview of the brand and history of models?

The book about vintage Rolex is very interesting, I periodically reread it.
