I'm thinking about buying a DJ or Date model with a blue dial. I'm also considering the salmon dial, but it's an outside contender. Not that it probably matters, but it would be a previous generation model (e.g., 16200, 15200). I've never seen a blue- or salmon dial in person. How do they look? And if you could post a picture of yours, that would be beneficial, too.

I have never seen a salmon dial "in the wild", but I have seen them at AD's. I have seen blue DJ dials "in the wild" and at AD's and I personally like them better than the salmon ones. The blue DJ dials have a certain mystique about them and they are eye catching.

Love a salmon dial, I've only seen one, plenty of blue dials around... a DJ w/ blue dial and roman numerals is high on my list..

Salmon Dial !!!!

The salmon dial is very eye catching and really compliments the polished steel on the 116200, first time I saw one was on someones wrist in a busy pub in London and couldn't take my eyes off it!

A dealer I use in the UK is selling a 2007 model if you want details?

Really blue dials are just black dials that got bullied in the Rolex workshop, anyone with me on that?

Here's my Rolex Date (15200) with the blue dial. Planning on putting it on the market soon.
