The benifit of Hindsight or is it Foresight?

I was pondering earlier in the day how, for my 21st birthday my girlfriend (soon to be wife and a decade later an ex wife) purchased, as a present for me, a very elegant (at the time) gold Girard Perregaux.

Having tired of the watch I sold it some 10 years ago for a few hundred dollars.

Am I lamenting the sale of the watch you may well ask?

Not at all!

My thought are that for the same price (or a few dollars more or less) in 1975 with a bit of foresight, she could have purchased a Double Red Seadweller for me instead!

Had that been the case I would be now be gazing at my wrist with much fonder memories!

Damn! I think that would be hindsight?
