It's insane how closely divided TRF is on this choice (with a slight bias towards the batman).

Both are extremely nice. Would I have taken one on an oyster last year at retail, sure. But I couldn’t. Waited 12 months in all ( just picked it up this past weekend) and love it on the jubilee. All subjective.

I prefer the oyster bracelet, but, I would like it without the polished center links. If I owned one, I would consider having the PCLs brushed out. I remember seeing a post where that was done on a Black Ceramic Daytona and it looked amazing!

I chose both...
by buying a Super Jubilee so that I can choose between the oyster and the jubilee.

I don’t understand why there is any divide at all. This is same between Sub ND vs. Sub Date owners. They are the same watch with a slight difference but the owners of one are (almost violently) opposed to the other. It’s rather childish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I sold my Batman awhile back and plan to buy a Batgirl in the future. It is less about the bracelet (both look good to me plus I already have oysters on my other Rolexes) and more about the movement; I want the the latest movement with the longest power reserve.

The nicknames didn’t change with any versions of the Pepsi, Rootbeer, etc..... The BLRO/BLNR is the exact same watch with a slight color variation. A lot of the knuckleheads that go out of the way to push a new nickname on the BLNR have been banned as trouble makers so that should tell you everything you need to know about the subject and motives behind it. It’s all troll fodder and a very non-flattering look at a new demographic coming into the Rolex brand. |

Sorry, I‘m no english native speaker. That’s why I used the term „passed“ even when I owned the Batgirl for three months. I bought the Batman in 2017. When my AD offered me the Batgirl mid of 2019 I bought it, knowing that I would sell one of the two BLNRs later to fund another watch (which turned out to be the blue Sky Dweller). At the time I had both I realized, that I don’t need two GMTs on a jubilee, because I already had the Pepsi. They’re simply too similar to keep both. That’s why I kept the Batman alongside my Pepsi. These two watches give me the best diversity of the GMT options. The Batgirl alone is a fantastic watch, but when you select two out of the three... you know? And for all people who get mad about the fact that I use the nicknames „Batman“ and „Batgirl“: I simply like both nicknames and I am too lazy to always say/write „BLNR on Oyster“ or „BLNR on Jubilee“. I think especially „Batgirl“ is a nice name, because I imagine a powerful, good looking, young woman - not the worst imagination to have. |

Both are great imho, so ideally you should have both :). If I were to choose one, I'd probably go with the oyster.

Looks good on either bracelet, I would probably choose the oyster but the polished center links on the Oyster is a huge turn off for me. The Jubilee does make it look more premium. I do prefer the 70 hour power reserve and the slimmer lugs. With all that considered, I vote for the new Batman.
