First Rolex! Oyster Perpetual
So I've been creeping these forums for some time, but finally decided to pull the trigger on my first Rolex. Couldn't be more exited and just wanted to share a photo! Would appreciate any thoughts, good or bad comments welcome.

This is the first time I see this reference. Does Rolex still makes it?

That's nice. Makes a change from all the black or white Daytonas every day.
Orange, black and white is a killer colour combo. What's the ref? |

Thank you all for the kind words. I couldn't be happier with it, hope to be more of a contributor to this community. Ref 116034, I believe it's discontinued from 2009 or so. It was sitting in the display area of my local AD and the lady there said she's never seen another one like it. Actually to that point, I'm curious if anyone can answer a question in regards to the lume. It doesn't seem to pick up much of (if any) a charge from artificial light and is barely visible in the dark. With it sitting in the display case for so many years, is there any possibility of the lume degrading under that constant bright light?

First Rolex! Oyster Perpetual
Congratulations! Even this dial got the 05 that the air king didn’t
Try acclimating your eyes to a dark environment for a few minutes (pitch black is best). Charge the lume on the dial either with a hi lumen flashlight or a high lumen uv light. Compare to other watches if you can |
