Agreed. If the BLNR isn't doing it for you, trade it towards something you will wear and enjoy. Might as well take advantage of the ridiculous grey market prices of the BLNR to turn one great watch into two. I have a feeling that if and when the market does cool, a lot of owners of these ultra hot pieces will be left wishing they did the same when they had the chance. Like Padi said, some people buy for the perceived hype instead of going for a watch they actually want to wear.

Exactly what I was thinking

Presumably he likes each of those two watches less than the BLNR, but as a pair, maybe equal to or more. When you lose the watch you like the most, you lose. (It wasn't me you quoted, this is just my opinion on what trading down means)

If I were you, i would trade 2 or more for a grail not one for two.

I like this idea. Go for the gold or Daytona or something.

You have some interesting pieces . You have an Omega anniversary moon watch and and a moon phase Cellini, you're already on the moon so to speak. Since you go for the unique, sell the subs and trade the GMT's for a skydweller if you can wear that size, or get a five digit 16570, or go vintage and get 1655, or just get the modern 126570 white dial. You would have three very interesting pieces to look at. I would enjoy that collection.my.02 and of course you like the Meteorite dial GMT because it's from outer space....
