What do you like about your watch?

I know that each person have their own taste, preference etc when it comes to different hobbies and stuff, but when you purchase your watch (Maybe its your first watch, or not the first), what do you guys look for?

I like the Datejust i have as it was a gift from my family, the dial and bezel color contrast is simple but elegant. Looking to purchase my own Rolex in the coming future, Sub/GMT 126711 (Very intimidating but trying to walk in to a AD to start a conversation)

The Sub is basically a classic watch to have, simple but fits many different occasions. Black and silver is just the classic color combo.

GMT 126711, I like the color contrast , the way it looks when light shines at it. Definitely feels different when looking at it, gave me a wow factor.

What do you guys look for when looking for your next watch?
