And there it was

So today I was at Magic Kingdom and I am strolling in when what do I see but a woman with an explorer 1 standing next to her husband. Then I see the husband has a white dial ceramic daytona. It was incredible on the wrist. I wanted to stop and chat but was in a hurry to catch a fast pass for my children.

That said it was fantastic looking from 15 feet or so. Perhaps it was the venue but I tend to think not. If the member is here I hope he or she finds this post.

Saw a dj 2, dssd and countless subs there today as well. Most notable was a 5512. Also saw someone with a gray dial aqua terra and it was very nice.

Yesterday I saw nada at epcot. Not sure why...

I haven't been there in quite a while, but the demographic of the Magic Kingdom was dads and families, while Epcot was hipsters. It doesn't surprise me that more dads have fine watches than hipsters.

That's a rather presumptuous claim.

On the white dial Daytona: it is indeed a stunner. I am seriously tempted to go shopping for one as soon as I can justify my next big piece.

Can't speak for everyone but when we go to Disney on vacation we visit all 4 parks. I remain the same dad of a daughter wearing my Rolex.

It's definitely hot in real life compared to pics.....and we have some pretty darn hot pics already. Glad you got to see one, last Rolex Basel event I attended...a lot of people were curious to see my watch because they've never seen one in real life yet.....made me feel a little bad for wearing it.....wished Rolex just made more of these darn things and stop this game.

It's always fun to see them in the wild, especially cool vintage pieces. I saw a Red Sub for the first time recently (a member here Rlx-LVR Jeff), truly amazing

You could tell it was a 5512 by seeing 4 lines in the dial?

Very cool. I have season passes and usually only see Datejusts or a Sub if any. I mostly see Apple watches.

There were a ton of those. Smart watches were probably 20 to 1.

I am taking the family to do the Disney experience for a week. Gonna wear the DJ2. Last time I was there, I did notice a few nice watches not surprising since the full Disney experience is pretty expensive.

I'm more intrigued by the Explorer I on the wife. Was it 36mm or 39mm (if you could tell)? Pretty cool.

Was there in January with my d blue.

Kids love it. Can't say the same for myself. Not a ride person.

Love the French restaurant at Epcot.
