Super Jubilee fit 80's Datejust?
Does anyone know if the new solid link Jubilee bracelet will fit an 80's 1601 Datejust?

No, it won't, generally.
Sometime in the late 80's, early 90's Rolex did start to machine the locating lip on the backside of their cases between the lugs in preparation for releasing the SEL's. Cases with the machined lip will accept SEL's, however, the Super Jubilee takes the 1.8mm springbars with small pivot ends of later DJ's while the early ones with through hole lugs used the larger 2mm bars with larger pivots so there is some compromise for an acceptable fit.
