Help needed identifying a period specific handset and bracelet for my 1803 Day Date

I own the attached 1803 Day Date. For starters, I am looking for confirmation as to what type of hand set and President bracelet this watch originally came with. It was made some time between 1969-1970. It currently has a "Alpha/Lance" hand set, which I am certain is not original to the watch. I may be mistaken, but I believe this model of 1803 originally came with a stick hand set. Is that correct? I would also love to know which model of President bracelet this watch originally came with.

Secondly, I am looking to locate & purchase a time period specific hand set & President bracelet for this watch. I would really like the hand set to have some patina to it, so that it matched the rest of the gold pieces that are currently part of the dial (hour markers, Rolex emblem, etc). Does anyone have any of these needed parts, or know where I might be able to locate them?

Thanks in advance for any knowledge shared, or any assistance that may be provided!

With the doorstop dial maybe those hands are original?

Do you have a nice head-on shot of the dial?

I would want to inspect that watch more carefully before I put any money into it.

Tools, please elaborate. Are you questioning the authenticity of other components? I purchased the watch from Bob Maron, who is probably the largest reseller of vintage rolex’s In the world, and who has an excellent reputation in the business. Before purchasing it, I took the watch to Ken who owns Wanna Buy A Watch in Beverly Hills (another internationally recognized vintage rolex reseller) and he confirmed the authenticity of the watch as well. When I purchased the watch Bob Maron explained to me that the handset was not original to the watch...but that he felt the rest of the watch was likely original. If you have reason to believe otherwise, I would love to hear more about which pieces and why. Thanks for sharing your opinion!!!

the poor photograph makes it impossible to say anything except, as you note, the handset would not be correct.

If the handset is not correct, I would want to know what else is not correct, hence I would want to know much more about it.

A President bracelet for a Day Date of that age would likely be more costly than the value of the watch.

All that had to be said was the name Bob Maron and the words excellent reputation in the same sentence and I stopped reading.

Im sure Bob Maron can find you some hands and make them look old ; )

Haven_Seeker,
Here is the link from Bob Marina website which has the original listing, along with many pictures. The hand set in these pics was not original to the watch and so I had him change it out for the Alpha hands. I am not attempting to identify a period specific hand set. That combined with a period specific band and the fact that this is a very uncommon underline example of a 1803...I think it would make a pretty cool piece. Thanks for commenting and I would very much appreciate any further thoughts you may have!

Offrdmania,

Haha, was the mention of Bob Maron a good thing or bad thing?

By the way, I tried to post around 15 better pictures of this watch when creating this post. Each time the site said the dimensions were to large. I was taking the pics from my I phone. This is my first post on this forum so if anyone has any counsel to offer re how to capture pictures that the site will accept, I would greatly appreciate it.

He is not well liked on this forum for his sleazy car salesman practices in the watch world. He is far from having an "excellent reputation". Ask John Mayer what he thinks about him

Yes, stick hands for a circa 1970 Ref. 1803.
Hopefully you’ll be able to post some close up shots (clearly focused) of the dial.
...And what are the first four digits of the serial number?

Crop out any unnecessary info (background) and resize to approx. 900 pixel jpegs...that should put you pretty close to the file size limit.
