6251 Bracelet Help And Advice
Forum Members
I haven’t posted very much, but would like to thank everyone on this forum for the knowledge, entertainment and now hopefully the help. I have read here, watchuseek, Vintage Rolex Forum and the general internet about Jubilee bracelets. What I have found is a lot of conflicting information so I am asking for help from the experts here. I am attaching pictures of what I believe may be a Rolex 6251 with 55 end links. I have some questions about its authenticity, mainly because I have done so much research I don’t know what to believe. Here are my questions. Is it possible for the gold to separate from 55 end links or are 255 end links the only two tone? I have seen a lot of “6251” bracelets for sale with month and date stamps like this one, and have also seen some which were not stamped with the bracelet model number. An example link is here: https://www.chrono-shop.net/en/2538-...6542-5508.html. Does this mean fake for sure, or were there some of these made in this manner? I have seen several “6521” bracelets with the month and date stamped upside down relative to the stamped ROLEX name and symbol. I no longer know if that makes them fake or not. Can anyone here shed some light on this? According to my research, a lot of fakes only have 6 adjustment holes in the clasp whereas this one has 7. Does this seem concerning? Many of you have much more experience than I. As a whole considering this bracelet would any of you be willing to give me some input on whether you think this bracelet is legitimate or not? I sincerely appreciate any help from any of you. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I believe the Swiss two-tone bracelets had a 6252H 14 model number stamped on the clasp. The end links were stamped 250 on the GMTs but Datejusts used 55 end links with a thick gold cap over the center sections of the end links.

Yes, these end links look like they used to have caps on them at one point. I assume it is possible that they could fall off. 99% of these bracelets seem to have a stamp in them; however, I have found many examples from reputable sources that do not. I have searched high and low for a direct answer to this and can’t find one. Thank you for your reply btw.
