When it comes right down to it, there is rarely a time I need to wear a watch but yes, I generally have one on throughout most of every day. If it's a day working at home I have a Seiko dive watch that usually gets the call. If I'm out in the yard or garage doing something and come in to shower early evening I probably won't put one on just to sit on the couch and watch a movie but pretty much any other time I have one on.

Anyone else feel it necessary, not for time's sake but just to have that feeling on the wrist?
The timing of this thread is uncanny. I went full time work from home in January. I bemoaned not wearing my watches as much with my new job. So last week I started wearing them at home. I work nights, so I’ll grab a watch at 8:30 pm just to wear it all night at work. Despite having a 3 screen workstation with clocks all around, my iPad for reference material and my phone for music.

I still want that watch on my wrist. It just feels right.

I like it, and I’ll be continuing to do it.

Wear 2 watches (one on each wrist) while working from home b/c you don’t want to miss that 9AM Monday weekly meeting.

Wearing a watch while working from home

Good to hear you still wear one when working at home!

Since I retired I still wear and rotate my watches. I simply enjoy wearing and looking at them too.
