Tudor snowflakes - what is the earliest date these were introduced ?
Would a 7016 from IV.68 be too early for a snowflake dial? Would the small rose still be in play at that time?
Thx to all, Harry |

Hey Harry,
From my notes, I have 68' flakes (7016 & 7021) in the 73xxxx range and on. They all seem to be from the latter half of 68' so I would suspect the transition started somewhere in the middle of the year. Jase |

I picked up a caseback from a sub with the date marked IV.68 and it doesn't have the 7528 added. I felt it was likely a snowflake part. Thank you!

I have a SF with the same caseback stamp and a Swiss only dial, which I am told was typical of the first run of dials for the flakes.
