Need an expert in 7836 bracelets to figure out if this one is genuine...
Just bought a 7836 bracelet and wanted to know if anyone can give their opinion on whether it's real or not...the first thing that I was wondering was regarding the steal color. On this pic I have put the 7836 bracelet together with my genuine Rolex bracelets and a no-name aftermarket oyster bracelet. The 7836 has a lot darker steel color compared to the 78360 and the 93150 that I have on my 1680. But the steel color seems to differ between the different bracelets.
Hard to capture on a picture...(the bracelets are placed like this on top is a 7835 then it's the 78360, then the 7836, then the aftermarket one, the Datejust is fitted with a expansion rivet and the 1680 has a 93150) The crowns seems to differ also: Here is the clasp and the engravings on the top link and end link: My 78360 clasp for comparison: The reason I want to ask regarding this bracelet is that I have come across replica and aftermarket bracelets before and they all have had darker and different steel color then genuine Rolex bracelets. I also know that their are "high end" 7836 replica bracelets that supposingly are very good replicas. My newly bought 7836 has a real flimsy feel to it but so does my 78360 also... How can I know that this bracelet is real? |

First, that 382 end link is from a Tudor watch so most likely the bracelets origin. Im skeptical of how hard that crown was punched into the clasp hood but that may just be an oversight. If it is in fact fake, its one of the best super fakes ive ever seen.

I'm inclined to believe the bracelet is fake. As of recent these 7836's w/382 endlinks have been flooding the market; specifically on eBay. All with identical stampings and 382 endlinks. Notice how the clasp is thicker than other 7836's and crown stamping is much more raised than others?

Thanks for your input! I was just thinking, since it's for a Tudor watch maybe that's way the steel color differs...Rolex might have used another steel grade on their Tudor bands compared to their Rolex bands...correct?

For those not familiar...it is a Yukiwatch bracelet which they call a "replacement" bracelet. Notorious counterfeiters.
