Don't get too comfortable!
You prolly should seriously consider placing in a nato strap as the metal one is not serviceable by my seeing of the images you have posted thus far...

Might consider changing to a solid oyster bracelet or as you advised, a nato strap.

Wow that’s a rare beauty surely all your Christmas’s and birthdays put together for life! . Forgive my ignorance , maybe someone knows the answer as it’s not apparent to me and I’ve always been curious as to why Rolex created the red Gmt in particular, was there a specific purpose for the change was it to create a rarity like the Sub or the underline dial ? I also notice the second sweep hands are also different on the red version. It appears they set out to create this limited addition but did it signify a particular landmark in production or celebrate a place in time? Just curious that’s all. Still amazing to see let alone own

Exactly, either a period “close” oyster tuna can strap or a nice “MOD” grade nato.

You are wearing an extremely fragile/priceless “jewel” grade/collectible/irreplaceable, now - so please take caution with the bracelet you currently have with it!

I am a NATO fan all the way!
Also, just a thought, the new Tudor rivet bracelet would achieve a look that is close to the original.

Many thanks. I also like using nato straps since it gives me the freedom to choose a strap to match my wardrobe for the day.

Let me check that Tudor bracelet. It could be a nice alternative. Thanks.

I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a Swatch in Philippines let alone a vintage piece

I’m always amazed folks can afford to pay this much for a watch. I suppose it’s akin to an expensive piece of art. I get nervous wearing $10-20k watches!
