5512 4 line dial uv

hi everyone... is anyone know that 5512 4 line meters first will react under uv light? thanks. i cant find any source mentioned abt this.

Can you provide more detail? What are you looking for exactly? And do you mean gilt or matte meters-first 5512s.

Regardless, yes, a 5512 dial (matte or gilt) should react under UV light, but differently depending on the year(s). Even dead tritium can react under UV.

i want to know matte 5512 4 line... because i didnt see any source in internet talking abt this? do u have any pic of the reaction for matte 5512? thx mates

You will probably get more help if you provide some useful information. Show photos of the dial so people can verify that it's original. Give the first few digits of the serial number so people know the era of the dial. Describe the response of the dial and hands to UV excitation, and describe what happens when you shut the light off.

Here's my matte 5512 (3-mil. serial) with and without UV light. The tritium is otherwise completely dead.
