Bracelet Question
Forum Members
I haven’t posted very much, but would like to thank everyone on this forum for the knowledge, entertainment and now hopefully the help. I have read here, watchuseek, Vintage Rolex Forum and the general internet about Jubilee bracelets. What I have found is a lot of conflicting information so I am asking for help from the experts here. I am attaching pictures of what I believe may be a Rolex 6251 with 55 end links. I have some questions about its authenticity, mainly because I have done so much research I don’t know what to believe. Here are my questions. Is it possible for the gold to separate from 55 end links or are 255 end links the only two tone? I have seen a lot of “6251” bracelets for sale with month and date stamps like this one, and have also seen some which were not stamped with the bracelet model number. Were a ome of these made in this manner? I have seen several “6521” bracelets with the month and date stamped upside down relative to the stamped ROLEX name and symbol. I no longer know if that makes them fake or not. Can anyone here shed some light on this? According to my research, a lot of fakes only have 6 adjustment holes in the clasp whereas this one has 7. Does this seem concerning? Many of you have much more experience than I. As a whole considering this bracelet would any of you be willing to give me some input on whether you think this bracelet is legitimate or not? I sincerely appreciate any help from any of you.
