1950s Tudor Oyster - Blank Caseback
Evening/Morning/Afternoon All! I've been lurking on these forms for a little while, apologies for my first post being a question :)
The majority of 1950s Tudor watches that I have seen have had a model number along with the other caseback reference. Is there a reason as to why some are completely blank? |

Sometimes they are so over polished that the numbers have vanished. Either that or an aftermarket case back was used. Pictures of the watch in question would really help.

Cheers - alas I can't post pictures etc. at present. That's a good suggestion regarding the aftermarket case side of things as there's no Swiss Made on the dial either which I've heard is also an aftermarket trait.
