question movement number

I have a doubt to see if you can clarify it to me. Does the movement number in the certificate of the official control of chronometers have to be the same as that shown on the machinery of the watch?

The images that I put below are taken from the internet to give an example, they are not coincident.

No one is the case number, the other the movement number which is different from the case serial, like on all Rolex watches from the very start of the RWC till present time.

I do not mean the case number, I refer to the number of movement of the machinery, which is written, for example, in pen in the document of the photo.

Yes, that is the movement number that originally came on the watch with that serial number. If you have a certificate with a serial number and movement number but only the serial number matches the watch then most likely the movement was replaced at some point in its life.

surely if it coincides, I have all the original documentation of the time, what happens is that I do not have the right tool to open the lid.

A local watch maker should have the correct tool

Today I went to an AD Rolex and I opened the lid, all correct and the numbers of the movement match perfectly. When I have time I will do a report on this Day-Date of 1969
