I'm in my 60's, I have worn a watch since I was a teenager. Which ever watch I am wearing never comes off my wrist, until I switch watches. So I don't know what it's like to not have one on my wrist. I work out of my house also.

Wow, that's amazing! I don't shower / sleep / workout with mine.

I wear my Rolex all day. I don't care that it's just me and a computer. I like watches and when I don't have one on it feels weird.

I wear a watch except when sleeping. I have clocks in every room, but I feel something is missing without a watch.

My wife cracks up because I’ll walk around naked still have a Rolex on. Sometimes I’ll change my watch to another one even though I haven’t gone out yet.

it’s totally unsafe to do anything like working from home in a valuable wristwatch. the postman may mug you for it!!!

Absolutely, I wear my watch when I work from home, sheesh, I wear a watch everyday, regardless, don't feel dressed without one, and if I don't wear a watch, my right arm starts rising all on it's own with the weight of a watch....

Except sleeping, I always wear a watch. First thing after getting out of bed (besides peeing) is putting on a watch. A ceramic bezeled Sub looks awesome under my pure white resort robe. Perfect morning attire.

When I get home from work I often put my other Rolex (I only have two automatics) on my right wrist to keep both “wound.”

Anyone else feel it necessary, not for time's sake but just to have that feeling on the wrist?

Ha good thread! I actually used to. Sometimes when I leave office and WFH, I keep it on, but nowadays I don’t wake up and put it on knowing I am home for the day.

One of my first few posts here, new to the rolex family, cant wait to post some shots after my 10th post..... I work a lot from home but I make sure to appropriately differentiate my "work day" from my after-hours family time by dressing up in shirt and tie (and pants :) 9-5 at home and then change out to casuals after 5pm. That way my work doesnt "bleed" into my personal time.. the kids then also know when I can play w them... in the same token, I will be wearing a watch that compliments my formal attire during the day time (rolex, grand seiko), and then switch over to my beater watch (currently my BB58, the most perfect watch that I have ever owned, on a strap so not worried about scratching it too much when rough playing w the kids) after hours.... i hope that doesnt sound too crazy- it's good to be part of a group of people with whom this is actually a topic of conversation.

Weird. Feel naked if I sit down in the morning and don’t have it on.

I definitely "show up" to work in sweats and a tank top at home! Even on our internal team calls while on camera, you might see a backwards hat on me. The consulting life!

The FIRST thing I do in the morning is out on my watch. Doesn’t matter if I’m going to the office, working from home, or having a leisure Sunday. I don’t roll without a watch. Also at night, the last thing I do is take off my watch (and kiss it good night, lol, just kidding). I wish I could sleep with a watch on my wrist but it always bothers me at some point.

I work at home and I always have a watch on. I'll change my watch several times a day during a full day at home and I wear my Apple Watch to sleep in. Normally I am wearing two watches - one normal and an Apple watch.

I work at home every day (mostly researching and writing, or just lazing around 'thinking') and always wear a watch. I might wear three or four different pieces through the day.

Only take mine off for showering or changing watches. Watches are designed to be worn

No need to wear in the house. I only wear outside/in public.
Status symbol. Always do my best to keep my Rolex wrist at 12 o clock when driving, in case anyone looks my way. That only applies when I’m driving myself, as opposed to being driven around in my RR

Watch is on just after feet hit the floor in the AM and just before going horizontal in the PM.
