Clockwise test?

Hi,

for know i have learned to check whether a submariner is authentic or not, by trying to adjust the time. If you turn the crown clockwise, the time will move clockwise on the 3135 movement.

However, does the date wheel also act the same?? I mean if i set the crown in the date adjust position, and turn it clockwise, should the date wheel turn clockwise as well?
