for the strapaholics....
Question. I'm looking for a non-oem gator strap(s) in black and brown for my 422. Non-glossy, padded, with sewn in pre-v buckle. I would like to spend no more than 200 per strap. Can you suggest two or three makers with whom you have had good results/experience? Thanks.

Micah makes awesome gators and worth the cash. Note that they aren't fully "dress" gators, if that matters.
Buy a couple and with the discount you will get closer to your budget goal.... |

I have about six from Micah and I agree they are awesome. This time however I am looking for a dressy gator strap which his really are not.

For dressy gator, nothing beats OEM, IMO. Well, maybe ABP or Dangerous 9, but they cost the same if not more.
For the posted budget, Ted Su is an option for dressy gator, but, the gator strap quality isn't great. IMHO, better to go OEM (or the two mentioned above if you want something a little more "special" (like the ABP tanning straps)). |

I recently have a strap of exotic "skin" from Combat Strap for my Pam. Might be those interested can take a look at their website, they have exotic leathers, numerous colors for the leathers and stitches. Price should be within 200.

For your budget you should also check twb the watch boys from canada ... I have a black, dressy gator and i think it is very good value for the price .... See my post comparing TWB versus Simona strap
