Picked up the new 126610 for my newborn

I've got a few watches that the kid will inherit but I wanted to buy him something that I could enjoy for a number of years and then give to him as a gift one day. I missed the last 116610 my AD had last month but am the first to the get their recently delivered 41mm.

A few years ago, I sold a vintage 1964 OP silver stick Date that hadn't gotten wrist time in years. I primarily wear chronos and usually wear my SMP 300m when I'm in a non-chrono mood. Looks like it's may have to go into retirement for a little while. The new sub is a great fit and feels just right.

I totally drank the kool-aid and I'm loving it!

Congrats! The design is timeless, so whenever you decide to pass it on, it will still have a lot of style to go along with all the memories.
