Anybody ever had a Nuru massage? That is what I want to try. Of course with the opposite sex.

Yes many years ago. It was a great day Nuru massage then habs game center ice. Then we got hammered and went to dinner.

These comments are basically spot-on. Places like (not to single them out, but...) Massage Envy are all about volume and churning the customers. The masseuses burn out quickly and no one can do 8 deep tissue massages in a day, every day. Hence the light, useless "Swedish" massages that you usually get there.

That said, I was able (after going through nearly the entire staff) to find a good one at one of those places, and when she quit and went to another chain place, I followed her there until that place went under and she started her own practice. I don't know what I'll do when/if she moves or retires.

I also have had a few really bad massages that left me in worse shape than when I started. Unfortunately, despite state required licensing and training, not all of them know what they are doing.

Never heard of it until now. I suspect that the wife may complain.

You Canadians have all the fun.

Anyway, I get a deep tissue treatment every 3 weeks, that works best for me and my body and my budget.

The older I get the more I’m reminded of the Holy Trinity: Stretch, Roll, Aleve.

Massages can help but they don’t replace stretching. Before I learned, I was in excruciating pain and wasn’t able to walk out of the massage place. Not their fault, just didn’t fix the issue.

The thigh bone is connected to the hip bone and the hip bone is connected to the back bone...
