OP41 Hands-on photos.

I think they look very promising.... thoughts?

I'll take the yellow & light blue.

Looks sharp. I don't really see the specific need for it, but it does look nice on the wrist. My Datejust II fills the need on my wrist for a 41 mm dressier (non-sports model) watch, so no real interest in picking one up. Looks real nice in the photos tho. I guess if you are looking for a little less flashy watch it woudl work.

Yes, agree! I guess the "Stella" like dials aren't really going to be competing with the dressier watches. Gray looks great as well.

I think the appeal is for someone seeking an entry-level Rolex watch, which may be someone younger who might be more interested in the colorful dials. As @Samson66 said, I don't see the need for it when I have a Datejust 41 with an Oyster bracelet, but I could see someone picking one up as a first Rolex with the lower price point.

The blue to me looks really close to a platinum style colourway!

Reminds me a lot of the Aqua Terra (sans date) from Omega.

And at a much more affordable price than the DJ.

I actually like this. Just not the new colours. But it may appeal to the younger generation with money who want to colour coordinate their watches.

I like these more now after seeing some IRL photos. I wasn't a fan at first, but they are quickly growing on me.

Thanks for sharing. That silver dial looks great.

I also think the new colors will set them apart from the competition. I'm sure they saw the overlap between the OP and other models in the previous iteration and chose to 1) correct that to maximize their portfolio, 2) make it an easier decision for buyers to trade up, 3) bring in new buyers with the new colors while 4) still keep enough Rolex equity with the black, blue, and silver dials.

Very smart move especially when I'm willing to bet that 75% of new Rolex OP customers will have never seen a picture of a rhodium or white dial 39MM OP, let alone one in person. They won't know what they were missing.

Good point on appealing to a younger crowd. If they started adding red and pink dials to the Sub I would have a BIG issue with that. But the OP is more entry level anyway and not nearly as iconic a model so it makes some sense to experiment with those dial colors a little more.

Green for me. I've always like the green anniversary dials.

For the people who don't like the colours, this looks pretty good and very much like Rolex:

That is quite a lot of money to color coordinate with the wardrobe. However, those with the means, the price to pay for these watches will be a rounding error in their net worth.

color offerings are welcome, however I don't like the design of the double-stick at the 3 and 9 positions, looks clumsy

I actually quite like a few of these and may be picking some up. I loved my old OP39 but couldn't the stand the non-symmetry between the white gold and lumed indices.

I hated the computer rendition of green, but the above live pic looks pretty special. Also digging the turquoise, silver, and black.

Entry level hell! I'd wear this over anything else I have or have had, over the years. Cocked my head at the double bars at 3-6-9 at first, but went away after a nanosecond. Loved it at first sight. I will be getting this one for sure, as soon as I can.

I wish they made a black dial with the gold hands and indices.. that would have been very vintage looking!

I'm also not a huge fan of the double stick indexes but seeing the wrist shots changed my mind completely. Green is also growing on me...

I was going to say these are the sleepers of the show although that's not really the case. I'll bet there will be a demand for all of these. Great job with the colors. The black is a perfect GADA piece. I'll take the silver one. The EasyLink is also the cherry on top.

3-6-9 NO.

And that's before we get to 41mm.
