This is a really silly question

This is a really silly question. I sit closest to the drink locker and/or the emergency exit (because it has more leg room) and I could care less who sees my watch.

Close to the washroom as possible as flying makes me nervous and aisle so I don't have to keep asking people to move to let me out...

Nah... I don't care too much about which seat I'm getting, I always wear my "I HAVE A ROLEX" T-shirt when I fly. The text is printed on my back, chest and arms.

Sometimes, I even staple a paper to my forehead with the same text. Always get's the stewards attention. I don't mind the pain.

I just wait for the pre-boarding announcements.

"now boarding first class, those traveling with small children, anyone who needs assistance... and WE WELCOME PETE AND HIS ROLEX TO THE FLIGHT TODAY, unless you have a Rolex, please get out of his way!"

I always like to ask the time at our destination as loudly as I can and then say "I just want to make sure my ROLEX is set to the correct time". Or, I ask how long the flight is "so that I can use my unidirectional bezel on my ROLEX to monitor our flight time". By the fifth time the flight attendant tells me that it's a 1 hour flight and we don't change time zones, I can really see the ROLEX envy in their eyes!

In an emergency, if I don't think enough people have noticed or properly admired my ROLEX, I will ask for a "diet coke for me and a clean cup of sparkling spring water to gently dab my ROLEX with!"

This is the BEST thread in a while, it's the gift that keeps on giving.

Always aisle seat on fixwing. No matter if I fly 1st, business or eco, it has to be aisle. Exception to this rule.., door window on Blackhawks, Bell 412's and LittleBirds

It depends a great deal on my mood!!

If I'm in "hijack" mood as I normally am on TRF, then I walk straight into the pilot's cabin, point a gun at his head and ask him to fly me to Bermuda!!

Otherwise, I prefer to sit opposite the "jump seat" on which the hostess sits!!

I prefer the seat on the left. But sometimes have to suffer on the right.
Doesn't really matter as they both have a wheel and pedals On that very rare occasion I get bumped to the fold down seat

Yes, that is fine but... more importantly, how does that impact others seeing your ROLEX?!

Hopefully this is an April's fool. It may be worth investing in a large strap and strap the watch to your forehead with a neon arrow pointing down stating ROLEX owner and just underneath stating loser! lol

If you sit on H,J you can show your Rolex when you take the drink from the flight attendants tray. and people beside you can admire your Rolex.
So where do you sit?

I think of the left or right side of the plane.
Is this thread for real?

Window or aisle, but the aisle seat surely give you better ingress and egress.

I wear a silver Mercedes wind breaker, D&G sunglasses, satin pants, a Ferrari cap, a Leopard Daytona and the jacket blinks "I am a Rich Mo Fo". I find that works the best for me then I don't have to choose my seat they see me coming or gong.

Depends on the aircraft but in general an aisle seat closest to where you board the plane.

Being a control freak, I fly my own plane, a Diamond D-40, unless it is too far away, like China, but I am not comfortable NOT being at the controls. I usually wear my GMT-II when I fly. If commercial, it's either watch. But I prefer to fly myself. Flying commercial used to be a pleasure, now it's like a bus with wings. Unless JAL, where do they get these stunning women attendance? I love JAL! I need a G-4 or 5, and be done with commercial airlines. Anybody got an extra $40,000,000. laying around???
