Casebacks Interchangable between 5 & 6 Digit? 14000m, 114200
Hey people,
Ive been thinking about getting a sapphire caseback from customwatchconcepts for my 114200, they manufacture a caseback for the generation before (14000/m) but not specifically for my 6 digit air king. The following are the caseback codes for the watches but I havent been able to confirm if their measurements are compatible. The 114200: 2330 The 14000m: 2040 OR 14000 I have also found some threads about sub & gmt casebacks being interchangable but nothing on the air king/OP34. Has anybody gotten a sapphire caseback for the 114200? It would also be usefull to know if the casebacks of 162xx & 1162xx are interchangable, its much more popular and id assume if the 5 & 6 digit datejust have interchangable casebacks it would be reasonable to assume the airking would aswell. Thanks for your insights! |

This is an interesting one.
I own a 114200 and have serviced many 14000 models over the years, I am not sure if the caseback fits because I've never tried to swap them with eachother. What I can tell you is that they both use the same caseback gasket, so it wouldn't surprise if they're compatible. |
