Hello from San Diego
Joined about a month ago but haven't introduced myself. I've always had a love of all things that keep time, I supposed I inherited that from my father who collected wall clocks. My first venture into higher end watches beyond the Casio's & Seiko's I wore in my youth was a Tag Heuer F1 that I bought for the bargain price of $200 after applying some gift cards I earned at work. I then graduated to an Omega Seamaster GMT 50th Anniversary that I bought at a duty free shop in Hong Kong. All was fine for years until a friend introduced me to a local watch enthusiast group. That started me down the road of getting a Rolex, unfortunately, with no prior purchase history. Getting on the wait list with my AD, I was able to get my wife a 36mm two tone DJ, while I patiently waited. When my calls finally came in, I was able to purchase a Milgauss & polar Explorer II. Next on the list is a 40mm YM 126622-0002.
