Description - Excellent?

Everything in the above description is currently described as "excellent." However:

- The bakelite insert (incorrectly termed a "bezel") is cracked and corroded.
- The lume on the hands exhibits significant damage - part of it has visibly fallen out.
- The dial has major cracking/spidering on the outer left edge.

I would describe the watch differently from the posting.

Excellent way to scare away customers with bogus descriptions of not excellent watches. HQ is a shell of itself with the current group there. Sad. Honesty and knowledge are paramount when acquiring vintage customers imo.

"Excellent" is so subjective. Better to ignore these vague descriptions from most sellers nowadays. HQ Milton ain't the only one.

This listing doesn't even tell me the approximate year/age of the watch. Very lazy.

Almost all vintage sellers are misleading.
Very disappointing and borderline scamming

Vintage can only be bought face to face and with an expert eye tbh. As I’m sure lost would agree. Take these listings with a very large pinch of salt.

Yes compared to the “near mint” Exp II with a bent 24 hour hand we saw earlier this week

Looks like focus on credibility may have taken a back seat since the departure of a significant staff member.
