1675 GMT Bezel Insert Question

Hello all,

I've come across a coveted "fuchsia" insert but its shape seems more "cone like", as opposed to the flatter one on right, which is my original one.

I've had it authenticated by two so called experts but my question now is:

Is there a way to make this flatter in order to comport to the bezel?

As it is theres not enough retention and you can see the 1mm or so gap on the circumstances, with a slight play.

Thank you in advance for any information.

You can flatten the insert some by rolling a round pencil over the top side while pressing downward with some pressure. Roll the pencil with downward pressure to the complete insert - not keeping it in just one area. This will tighten up many loose fitting inserts and keep them from falling out of your bezel. Additionally, you might want to place the insert in a plastic bag to help protect the insert before attempting this project.

Thank you for this. It's already got enough retention to stay, now I need to work on the blue bit to even out.

😎👍

OP, didn't you roll it over the whole insert?

Opa. Entao, como vai 👍

So yeah, I thought I did as prescribed but evidently applied pressure unevenly.

The good news is that I was able to even it out pretty good.
