Rolex 6423 a family heirloom
Hello,
I am seeking recommendation for a friend as he would like to use his late fathers watch on a daily basis, the watch is a 1958 Oyster Precision that was bought new by his late father. The watch has a beautiful patina to it and the bracelet and case is in spectacular condition for its age, the watch was sitting in a safe from 1974 till a couple of years back when he used it for an occasion or two. What is bothering me : The crown doesn’t close Not keeping accurate time Perished gaskets I would like to help him find a reliable source in doing the necessary maintenance to keep it running, what else should we address? Any reliable source for servicing and restoration in Europe, preferably in the UK? Aesthetically should the dial be cleaned? Thank you in advance, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Plenty of good service options in the UK.
Check Simon Freese or WatchGuy.co.uk |
