It’s no secret it doesn’t integrate as seemless as AP, PP, VC, etc but the push button micro is great and the bracelet is good enough for me at least. The star is the dial and backside view. Early grats

This is truly a grail. This blows 99.99% of other high end watches out of the water. A huge congratulations!

Has there been any talk of ALS extended warranty to 5 years (or even 8 like most other Richemont brands)? Not the most important, but definitely thought they would have beefed up warranty by now.

I’m considering an 1815 Up Down in WG, as I have for a few years now.

On the blue strap today. Jealous of the Odysseus, I hope to add one to my collection in the near future. I was told all Steel are sold out and not taking any new allocations until they fill current orders. I was able to try on a Titanium Odysseus several months ago and it was fantastic looking. Was told they have not even started production on any yet…

I wasn't cool enough to get it directly from Lange. I learned that boutiques are no longer taking orders for the stainless steel Odysseus, so I decided to go gray. Already thinking about which Lange pieces to pursue next.

Haha, but yeah, as I posted elsewhere, after the recent price jump to almost $35k, I felt now was the right time to grab this for low 20’s while still possible. It was still stickered/full set, just like getting from boutique.

I’m beyond excited as this is one I’ve wanted since it was essentially first released/upsized to 39mm…..truly a long time coming and fits in nicely with my long term goals.

Have to agree. It was the first ALS I wanted many years ago and remember trying it on at Cellini and thinking wow it’s perfect. Was a real forum darling back then and for good reason. Attractive movement, useful features and just enough going on dial side to keep you entertained.

Enjoy it. Maybe someday I’ll get the chance myself.

It’s such a clean design, but upon closer inspection so many intricate awesome details. It’s seriously a fantastic piece if you’re looking to add something in a white/silver dial with leather strap.

Edit: see here, a lot of people miss these little details with online pics but once you see in person it’s a ‘wow’ moment: https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce6STtZr...RlODBiNWFlZA==

Update- unreal, I’m 0/2 with grey dealer purchases in the last two weeks. My 1815 arrived with wrong dated papers and a nick on the bezel. They’re just taking it back as opposed to a partial.

The hunt continues

Oof. Completely agree - the contrast on the dial brings it all together. No way you overpaid.

That's really unbelievable! It's truly a toss up for me between the 5170G and this one for best chrono. Congrats!

anyone know how to change an odysseus strap on white gold? i just bought one from grey market and the rubber strap is reversed, as in the part with all the lines and logo is facing outside.

i went to the Lange boutique in OC and they did not know how to change it, how ridiculous is that. they told me they're not watchmakers, they just sell the watch. I didn't know you had to be watchmakers to change straps. completely unheard of from my experience with any other brand.
