The two-hander Tondas are really growing on me…

Thanks. It looks stunning. I am actually not a fan of the streamliner. Dial is nice but not crazy about the band. Plus they are all sold out. Czapek is also great but they do not have a green dial in the Antarctique. I originally considered the New Girard Perregaux Laureato new limited edition green dial eternity. That is a beautiful watch. Unfortunately they are also sold out and you can only buy it in the blue dial. I diversify my collection by dial color so want to add something green next.

I recently put in an order for the Tonda PF micro-rotor and am hoping to get delivery in a few weeks. To me these watches (both the Tonda PF and the Tonda GT) are like onions in that the closer I look the more layers there are to peel back. I was able to try on the Tonda GT at the AD in Vegas in early January and I was blown away by how comfortable the bracelet was along with all of the little finishing details. I'm a big fan of the minimalistic styling and attention to detail.

If you hear the new CEO Guido Terrini talk about his vision I believe that there are only good things to come from this brand and this line. He was a recent guest on the "Keeping Time with Oster Watches" podcast and he talked in detail about both the PF and the GT lines. I recommend it for anyone who is into that sort of thing

The Kahaki dial looks great.
I went in to see Tonda PF series, but a limited edition Tonda GT in ice blue caught my eye.

What are thoughts on this movement compared to the Tonda PF line?

Here's a pic of the ice blue dial Tonda GT

Been comparing this to some other integrated bracelets.

This looks incredible. Was the ice blue a limited edition?

I also have the Khaki. The dial changes from green to to slate blue depending on the environment. The bracelet is a work of art. I recently sold an Overseas. The Parmigiani blows it away. In all aspects... just my opinion.
I also have a Streamliner Green Dragon and Czapek Antartique. The Parmigiani goes head to head.

Seeing these for the first time … the bracelet looks like it’d wear like silk

Great pieces in this thread. The Tonda GT is the watch that originally drew me to the brand, and specifically the asymmetric small seconds hands gave me a chill the first time I saw it. I have the silver dial version, as well as the PF micro rotor, and I dare say that the GT is my favorite, not just of the two, but of my entire (though admittedly small) collection. That khaki dial version is to die for.

Congrats! Always nice to see appreciation for watches outside the norm. I owned a 1950 a while back and hoping to get a Tonda PF variant soon.

It's a limited edition of 25.

Think Parmigiani rarely uses ice blue, only found a platinum limited edition chronograph in the past.

Nice collection.
I also have a Streamliner and have been thinking about adding a Czapek Antartique or Parmigiani. Was originally thinking about a PF micro rotor, then I saw this ice blue Tonda GT.

How do you like the Antartique? compared to the Tonda GT?

Bump. Have my eye on the Tonda GT automatic. Like the look of the white dial on steel bracelet. Anyone have this one? Curious if the skeleton hands are hard to read on the white dial? My eyes aren’t getting better!

I have one, and love it. Legibility is great. Lume is pretty worthless, but the black lume itself does provide a bit of contrast against the dial.

Congratulations on the purchase

It's a beauty!

Parmigiani is totally underrated but seemingly won't be for much longer given it's now getting love from the usual suspects. Some of the early stuff is next level (Ionica, Memory Time, QP).

thanks guys, wish Parmigiani had a quick change strap system like the Vacheron Overseas. Leaning towards the steel bracelet but like the black rubber too.

Agree - can tell the time fine with no worries but lume not great.

Beautiful. I had a Tonda 1950 some time ago, my first micro rotor. I ended up swapping it for a LUC micro rotor. However, I really want a Tonda PF. Both the PF and GT lines are awesome.

Whoa, nice watch..

I think Parmigiani absolutely slayed W&W the last few years with their GMT and Minute Rattrapantes.

They are above my pay grade at the moment but I really do admire them.

Congrats OP!

I have no experience with the rubber strap, but IMHO the bracelets on both the Tonda GT and PF are a big part of what make the watches so special. I say get it on the bracelet, and then buy the rubber strap separately if you feel like you need to have it.

Good advice. The bracelet looks amazing in pics/vids.

I heard during event dinners he has absolutely no cheese anywhere including for hors d'oeuvres and appetizers. They really don't like the parmesan connection.

Love this brand. Have been very torn between the sporty GT and the classy PF. Wished there was a combo of the two. Presto! A new PF Sport was announced yesterday. I put a deposit down today on this one.

Didn’t come thru very well, sorry. Dial pattern same as the GT but scaled smaller. Rubber strap is a textured look similar to the AP Code I’m thinking (which is great). Hopefully they will release better pics soon.
