Why is the Search so off?
So...as a huge watch fan I find myself coming into TRF often. Love the community, the talks, etc.
My ONE complaint is the Search feature. If I want to find a specific watch for sale, for example, there is no way to rely on the Search feature...It returns results that are old and ignores the more recent or relevant posts. Yes, going to google technically works but it takes time for google to index posts....Am I missing something? |

Yeah ive noticed the same, playing with filters to find some recent content is helpful. But I normally use google to find what I am looking for

The search function is tricky to use.
In all honesty I find google gives me better results if I search as this example: Google search: “Rolex blro 126710 for sale The Rolex Forum” https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=851003 |

Unfortunately there is no financial incentive for the admins to upgrade the forum interface since it's free. Is watchrecon.com affiliated with this site? I found it way easier to search specific watches and the same watches show up. I do not know if the dealers on the site post there as well or the sites coordinate posts
