I like this iteration of Urwerk. I follow them for a while but am not able to justify myself with their design. Has anyone experienced with black PVD-coated titanium? Will it fade over time or is it more susceptible to show scratches?

I’ve been lusting after this brand for a while. Their watches are very unique with a nice history. I almost pulled the trigger on the Ultraviolet because purple is my favorite color but I’m not a fan of the DLC coating.

I really love the design of this watch but I hate the endless writing on it. I wish they didn’t feel like putting an essay on the dial. It almost feels tacky.

Petermann Bedat Ref 2941 Monopusher Split-Second Chronograph

Mic drop :o

When I had the prototype on my wrist, everything just felt perfect. The 38+ diameter, the heft, the movement finishing and the open dial aesthetics. It's one of the best hand-finished chronographs I have seen and handled. What a watch.

That Bedat is nuts. Wish they had even more skeletonization on the front. :) That movement is beautiful!

I’m not a the biggest chronograph fan but holy cow that’s beautiful. Whoever was able to get one of these is truly lucky.

Very nice watches, extremely original dials. Definetly something different in the world of steel sport watches with integrated bracelets.

The Petermann Bedat 2941 is finished to the nines. There are interior angles under the dial (first pic) too. Check out the black polish and matt finish in the movement (second pic), and of course more interior angles. There are 4 interior angles on the dial by Comblémine (third pic). This is a remarkable piece of work front and back.

Looks like you are becoming an interior angle counter now.

Really gorgeous movement and finish. Did you manage to get an allocation? The 38mm size is probably perfect for you.

I'm also looking out for hand-work on the dial, like guilloche, enameling, engraving and miniature painting. I like these.

I have asked about the PB 2941 but I think they are allocating to existing 1967 customers first. As there are only 10 pieces, I think my chance is about 0.01% but here's hoping.

I really hope that pictures in real life are better than the rendering and that the bracelet is tapered.

Am I the only one that’s disappointed with the Biver release?
So much hype prior to its release, yet it doesn’t look good.
Looks more like a fashion brand (Michael Kors) type of Watch and at 520k it doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

Sir, you are not the only one. For half q million, I expect much more. Also, perhaps these are just renderings but the interior design looked off. Greubel Forsey any day for that price.
