Bracelet adjustment

I'm not certain where to post this, but when purchasing a pre-owned watch how difficult is it to make band adjustments? Can this be done at most routine jewelers? I assume if links need to be taken out, they can be saved and replaced at a later date?

Thanks!

Super easy, any jeweler worth the sign on the door can do it. You can too with a $10 screwdriver from Amazon.
