Moser Streamliner Flyback Chronograph - Funky Blue 2.0

New 2.0 release of the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph with Funky Blue fumé dial

"The version 2.0 has been updated with a transparent logo and more contemporary anthracite finishes on the ingenious chronograph movement. The flyback chronograph function with its coaxial centrally mounted hands is intuitive to use and logical to read."

https://www.h-moser.com/product/stre...aph-6907-1200/

Looks like just update to logo and movement finishing.

I really like the minor changes on this. It’s a good update to an already very cool watch.

I have the first funky blue - yes the movement looks a bit more modern-looking, but I like the logo in white on the original. Glad it continues in their line up.

Not sure about this move. What’s the point?

To avoid doing a complete 2.0. I prefer version 1.0

I like this piece so much more than I expected. I think it gets a larger percentage wear than any other watch I own. It’s comfy and super easy to read and the chrono is so easy to use and read as well. Plus a self winding movement that looks manual !? I mean come on !!

Plus no one knows what it is so I’m not worried abt being jumped.

It’s a winner ! New version seems nice but I love mine.

Its been growing on me.. wish they could of slim it down a bit.
The first day of release, price was still at original 39,000, now its increased to CHF 45,000.

Well you could order a new lange ss chrono with a Central chrono for a little more than 100k more

I love chronographs, but the prominent 60 on the dial throws off the look for me. Within the streamliner family I prefer the center seconds or the perpetual

Very true, but then you'll also have to deal with Richemont.

H. Moser for the win

This - love the looks except for the 60 indicator. Similar to the old Mayu watches. I had a lovely Palladium example that I moved on because of the huge "12" at the top of the dial.

I feel the same way. The “60” at the top seems so unnecessary and makes the dial feel cluttered.

I was always pretty meh on this watch but at somepoint meh turned into loving it. Funny how that can happen with certain watches over time. I guess I "get" it now and didn't before.

I love Moser designs, but......I hate to say it.....but I think Moser is horribly overpriced.

I think you are as much buying Moser's inside joke on Swiss watchmaking and their almost contrarian approach, but it's at such a price premium that my eyes wander to other brands and makes for the price.

Ok so I think this chrono is about 44k. What options would you prefer for 35-45

A lightly used VC CDV in steel. A Patek 5212. An LF Square. All very worthy contenders at the price.

Edit: not saying the Moser isnt worth it. Just saying there’s stiff competition

Definitely a nice watch! I've always wanted a flyback chronograph, it adds a nice touch to my favourite complication.
