I have been very clear, I didnot buy this watch.
However this man is pretend as a private detective.
He was trying to educate people how online buying should be.
Have no idea how he got so much energy in debating and teching...
The fact that we had to explain the basic courtesies of selling and buying suggests you do need to be educated.

My other energy is used to do basic research and not waste peoples' time on elementary stuff. You're just lucky there are some really nice and patient members here who are happy to spoon feed / correct you with the right information.

You wanna know what is another basic courtesy? giving back to the forum after all these "request for help" threads but I'll need to pretend to be a professional fundraiser to educate you on that one.

Because life is long (usually)... we may be buyers today but we may very well be sellers tomorrow.

Its not just for eBay sellers but sellers in general. As a potential future seller, its good to know who I won't be dealing with.

I was just stringing together some patterns - apparently i'm detective (see above). We'll never know I guess. Though the OP did delete the pictures to the other 5513 thread - of course, mere coincidence again... normal behaviour.

who cares about OP’s “patterns”? He’s asking pertinent questions about interesting watches that he’s bought, thinking about buying, or thinking about returning to seller. Isn’t that what this forum is about? Learning about interesting pieces, discussing differences, learning?

So now you are debating with 3 people in the same time?

You should run eBay! So you can kick me out of it
Before that happening, you can only keep debating lol

so are you happy with my response to your first question why I care about sellers? because now you're moving on to another point..

No worries, lets deal with. Here's why I care - we are all in this "community" strung together by common interest - Rolex watches. Again, we will be both a seller and a buyer at some point in our lives. Basic courtesies as a buyer or as a seller should be encouraged otherwise its the wild west.

I merely asked the OP after seeing certain post trends - its a public forum inviting comments, I can post anything I think is relevant. If you read and follow the messages, its not clear what the intent is behind the OP. People who repeatedly post ended ebay listings generally have "won" looking for final validation. And guess what? everyone's got a different view which often leads to buyers backing out. What do you think are online seller's pet peeves?

You may not care right now because you're more a buyer than a seller. No worries, it is what it is.

Again, if OP had responded showing they are conscious of basic courtesies, I wouldn't care but doesn't feel like they do, especially reading his last comment.

Yes my grasp of basic forum tools like multi-quote and proof-reading what I write is too much for you. I'm more than happy to share my thoughts and respond accordingly.

I think my point is made and i'm sure more than I have put you on their do-not-deal with list going forward. What a waste a time you are.

Walkman2727, I won't share Private Messages in public but as I told you last week when you asked me via PM to contribute to your "5513 evaluation" thread (which you never followed up on, nor thanked anyone for their advice) . . .

"... Maybe if you were open about the fact that you already bought it, and how much you paid, you would get more feedback."

Seems you are just confusing people and creating discord among the membership. Please be more open in future about what you are asking people to evaluate.

Ok, in that case I'll just share your message for the sake of clarity, as you deleted the photos after you received advice from our experts.

You have no shame nor self-awareness. Its embarassing. Stop arguing, you are making it worse.

Instead, here's a thought - do yourself a favour, become a pledge member, donate $35 to the forum so you would have at least done something contributive here.

Why is that I can not delete photos after I receive advice?
I have received enough advice and I did thank everyone.
It would make a a selfish bad person?
Does it against any policy in the forum?

So once you have satisfied your own self-centered needs, you think it’s ok to sabotage the thread, erasing the value of everyone else’s contributions and rendering the thread useless. This is the behavior of a parasite.

Glad someone's having fun, that's what the Pledge fee is for, not for information about watches, those you can google it...

Walkman,
Maybe you see this from your point of view only. If you're treating it the same as walking into a shop asking for an authentication and then walking out, it's not the same on forums. Forum etiquette and how things work is usually as a community where everyone learns, and it's the place to be for newbies / future collectors etc. so threads need to make sense. If the pictures are gone, the posts are useless. Members' contributions are not temporary, if that make any sense? That's the reason for 'selfish' comments.
Maybe give this a thought? let it sink in and you may understand why you think you got 'attacked'.

FWIW, I'm not the only member who saw right through your "BS". Good riddance.

I knew it wouldn't take long before you expose your real self.

Yes - the Mods were very patient.

I sense a cultural/language difference too - one where emotion ignites before fully understanding the context within our complicated English language.

Maybe he is on a temporary “time out” and can learn from this thread and prior ones via reflection. Name calling is never acceptable.

Or gone forever…
