Hi

I'm in the market for this model. I am only interested in buying it from an AD. I have a few questions:

1. How did you acquire your piece? Was purchase history important? If yes how much did you spend at the AD before you got this piece?

2. When did you get it?

3. Did you buy it as a walk in customer?

Any advice you can offer is really appreciated.

1. Didnt . and yes Purchase history is very important. Spent over 400K USD with no success here in Dubai as they need more

2. The AD said no chance.

At least this is my experience. So planning to go the Grey road , just waiting for the right price.

1.) My AD had/has a running list of watches that she knows I will purchase without hesitation. This was on it. I have no idea of total dollars but longstanding customer with watch and jewelry purchases (but I have never been lead to believe that I "need to do X to get Y"). I have also referred a lot of business to the store. Most importantly (I think) - I have been extremely selective and turned down numerous watches I could've flipped for thousands (or maybe when it was really frothy tens of thousands?) with a single phone call. I have also never sold any of the six watches that I have acquired. Lastly, I was into watches before it was so in vogue so I think there is comfort of selling to someone trying to build a collection and not someone who is investing in watches or would ever do anything to jeopardize AD status.

This! Or just go to reputable secondary / gray dealer to pay whatever market price is.
