Why they didn’t just do a BB58 with that dial and handset is beyond me. Make the bezel normal and not gilt.

Guess what - you would sell a crap ton of watches. I’d buy today.

There is no photo/angle of this watch that makes it look good.

People here are funny

TT SD 43 “This is not logical for a tool, blah blah”
Tudor P 01 that is as tool as a Phillips screwdriver “ugly”

Maybe Rolex entire catalogue should only have a five digit sub to appease the “WIS” crowd

As they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity! This thread is 6 pages long and still kicking, and I'm sure the folks at Tudor are loving it!

I like the fact that Tudor is willing to take a few risks with their collection, and this year they again seem to be the brand that is creating a buzz. Let's face it, this year's Basel was a complete snoozer and it's a good thing Tudor gave us this monster or there would be little worth talking about.

For the record, I find the history of this model and the bezel locking mechanism to be quite interesting. It's probably far better in person than it is in the pics. If my lifestyle suited wearing something so outrageously casual it's something I'd consider having around out of sheer novelty. I can't wait to see the pitchforks coming out for the first guy around here who jumps in!

Polarizing but likely the most talked about new release. Need to see in person but like the 30’s Scfi look. Buck Rogers as someone else pointed out.

It amazes me that watch experts at Tudor decided this is what the market wants and will sell. Out of all the possible watches they could have released, they thought this was the best option.

I'm sure folks in the US caught it but this is exactly what I was alluding to. Except Grandpa did it. Insulting the distinguished among us wasn't my intention.

C’mon guys, nobody has said it yet, but with lug holes it’s gonna be a strap magnet. Think Speedy Pro. Nato, zulu, rubber, carbon, leather? Personally, I’d rock the sh!t out of it on a zulu. I think it’s badass. Standby...

That's not lug holes, that's just for the bezel locking mechanism to be able to be used.

it looks better on the wrist for sure. When the watch is by itself laying flat it kind of looks like it melted

I think whats difficult about the pictures is that it doesnt show the curvature of the lugs/end link/locking system

The more pictures I see the less I like it. There is simply no elegance in the lines of the watch. The locking system is clunky and the shape of the case is awkward.

It appears this watch is the Tudor version of a G wagon. You either love it or hate it.

Reminds me a bit of the GP sea hawk.

I don’t understand the bezel, it’s not a timing bezel, nor a GMT, what is it good for?

For me the decision could be swayed by the operation of the mechanism,

if it was clunky=toss it in the bin.

If it is smooth and a pleasure to use=worth considering.

The dial is sweet.
