First post-Baselworld 116710LN on Bob’s

First one I’ve seen listed anywhere reputable since Wednesday. They were in the low $8k’s 3 days ago...

Is Bob reputable?

Never trust a man with a palindromic name.

That's not that much of a premium over MSRP +tax.

Not that I would buy from Bob's after reading some reviews here...

That begs the question, I wonder what the David SWs etc of the world are offering for the hard to get models these days on trade or cash offers.

I bought the GMT c when it first came out but only to sell 3 months later, and like someone said, quite a boring watch.

Bob's is legit, just do a search, quite a bit of poor feedback though.

(I've never dealt them with, so no experience first hand)

I bought my 116500C from Bob's it was perfect and at a significant discount from anything on the forum. Have you actually had any experience with Bob's? He's also a forum member, fwiw.

Not sure the hate on Bobs. I've never actually bought a watch from them, however, I have been to their retail store in Orange County and it is a well-establsihed business. Not shady at all. And I do know two people (non-WIS) that bought watches from them and had no complaints.

I tried on one today here in Scotland. 2009 model looked absolutely immaculate, not a hair scratch etc, box and full cards etc. £7000

I find the Black bezeled the most professional looking of the bunch. The others seem contrived.

Bob’s is legit. Bought my SS Daytona in person from their two years ago. I know others that have bought from there as well with no issues. A lot of complaints have to do with selling to Bob’s, which I’ve never done.

I have recently done business with Bob’s and found the company to be very reputable. In my humble opinion the best and most knowledgeable online Rolex re-seller

I purchased my 16600 from Bob’s (online) in 2013 with great service.

I have to ask why you had two experiences if they both were bad?? That makes no sense.

It'll take a few weeks for the prices to find their correct spot. If too many people see high prices and think "Damn, I'm gonna sell mine," then the prices will drop. That seems a pretty likely outcome for the LN -- there are a lot of them out there.
