PP 5164A Alternative
Hello to all,
Just wondering if anybody knows of any watch that employs a similar movement/concept. Does not even have to have 4 hands or dual time. But basically I think the pushers that allow the hour hand to jump so conveniently is very cool. And come to think of it, I’d even be happy if it were only a 3 hand watch that allows the hour hand to be adjusted as easily as the 5164A. It would be very practical and useful for travellers who just want a watch to tell the local time, with the convenience of adjusting the hour hand with the help of pushers without having to reset the watch every time one travels to another time zone.

no idea, but i do know i prefer a travel time to a GMT. Both because you can hide the second time zone but also because its not in 24 hour format. On a GMT I always have to do the math to figure out what time it is as 16:00 doesn't mean anything to me. its 4pm. cant make my brain work in 24 hour time

Thanks guys. The 5134 looks good. Esp the one in platinum. But after looking at it I realised that I was actually referring to a more SS sporty/casual piece.

The new Urban Jurgensen One GMT has similar pusher driven adjustment of the local (main) time:
See this video for a description of how the GMT function works: https://www.urbanjurgensen.com/one/d...oncept#the-gmt |

I am looking at the bulgari octo GMT that was realised at Basel. I like that it is thin, not very flash and light weight. I haven’t seen it in person, but it looks plain Jane in photos.
