It is a beaut! It’s a great size for smaller wrists like mine (6.75”) and it has a really deep black dial, great water resistance (200m) and has that cool flight instrument look.

For the price you really can’t beat it. Also, I like watches like this from the pre-Prospex era, they feel like the old Seiko that we loved before they started raising prices on everything.

I have the SNA414 (Gold) and have had it for around two + years! It's a great watch. I've honestly never been a fan of the OEM bracelet, so I have had it on leather, rubber and canvas straps over the past few years.

I have it on a beautiful black Monza strap right now!

Again, very nice.. Looks a lot more expensive than they really are. Great bang for buck.

You'll love it! Congrats on picking one up. The Flightmasters are apparently getting hard to find and more expensive.

Just got one a couple months ago. I love it! Aside from my GS it's my favorite watch and I look for reasons to wear it. Wears well as far as size, there's enough contrast in the polish and satin finishes to set it off - it really seems to punch above its price class. I put a hunter green leather strap on mine with yellow stitching to complement the yellow seconds hand. If I have to find a gripe readability can be a touch challenging. That said though I bought sight unseen and have 0 regrets.

Forgot to mention, the alarm sub-dial at 6PM can be used as a second time zone if you aren't using the alarm setting! I've never really used the alarm function, I use the subdial as a second time zone set to GMT

Did your watch arrive?

I've never been a fan of the OEM bracelet. So I just ordered this one on eBay, a "President" style bracelet sort of like the ones the original Seiko Flightmaster 7T34's had.

Here's some pics of my SNA414 on the new bracelet!

Very cool Seiko! Am I the only one who thinks it looks super retro? Very 1980s, for some reason, to my eyes anyway. Nice!
