Not that I care about value retention, but man I would love to be in the "I got this before the hype" boat for ONCE in my life lol.

I would tend to disagree. Take a look at the 5036, which have “flattened out” at +/- $30k ... and they have a removable bracelet.

Congrats for the new watch, baby and house.

More pictures please and kindly let me know your wrist size.

Congratulations Mr. Goh! I am also on a similar shoe as you in June 2021, but without a new child hehe (upcoming promotion and a new home; and a milestone birthday).

I am eyeing an AP Code to celebrate the moment :)

Has anyone put a blue strap on a 5205G? I’m looking to add a blue strap/blue dial PP to the collection and thinking of this one with a blue strap. Less expensive than some of the plat models that normally pair with blue straps and i like this dial. Any pics would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I had this blue one thrown in with my purchase. I know it looks purple, but that's my phone's camera doing that. In reality it is a dark blue, and matches well with the dial IMO.

Any better pics with the straps being blue?

Pardon the focus, was trying to some quick shots in before leaving the house and didnnt realize auto focus was so off lol. I chose a more vibrant blue, but they have a TON (to me anyway) of leather options to choose from.

Some better pictures, with indoor lighting. The blue does look darker when not in direct sunlight.

Yes, I put on a blue leather strap....beautifully compliments the watch face. My blue is a darker blue than the pictures above.

Some updates, after wearing it on leather for a couple of days i realized i need a rubber strap due to the humid weather here.

Got a cheap rubber strap online (even comes with quick release) and am quite pleased with the results.

Nah, they won't be. Even assuming SS trend will end (it won't, SS sports watches are too versatile and also accessible - not counting grey - as compared to PM and watches with complications) there are way too many different references of dress watches going around. Without being limited / rare the price will not increase.

Much better chance for Ref. 5235 or 5196p to increase in value. They both have things that differentiate them from other watches.

Excellent, I need one too.
Can you share what website, item #, you ordered it from?
Many thanks!
